Dear Greg, great question! Beech Mountain can be somewhat diverse. What is your wish list? Families can enjoy the Beech Mountain Recreation Center, Beech Mountain Club, Ski area restaurants, live music venues and Freds General store. All in all it is a great community. You can choose from gated communities, chalets, log homes, condos, and round houses. This is also an active area if you plan to use the home as a vacation rental as well. Home or lot? Guess it depends on what you want but there are some great deals to be had regarding existing homes. Let me know if you have any other questions.
