Born and raised in Vermont, my mother was a real estate agent and my parents owned residential rental properties and 3 commercial properties. The value of real estate was instilled upon me at a very early age. Attending Clemson University in South Carolina, I realize how much I didn't understand being a tenant. I yearned to buy a home, fix it up, and sell it at graduation for a profit. My parents regularly refused to co-sign a loan for that project and suggested I just focus on graduating so I could get that job which would allow me to qualify for a loan on my own.

After graduation, I lived in an apartment just 1.5 years before buying my first place (in Baltimore) at 22. Two years later, I bought my first FULL GUT rehab. That house was so smelly and gross, but I loved it. I went by there every night after work and stayed on top of the contractors to get the job done right and timely. The renovation bug had hit. I bought another and then another. Now, I own (and have sold) numerous houses renovated by me and my contracting team- all in the Baltimore area. Throughout this time, the need for the perfect Realtor came up and I decided that no one would know the perfect deal for me more than myself. Once licensed, I worked very part time for other people and FULL time on my own projects, still managing to sell a high volume. Eventually, I quit my career as an Engineer and was full time following my passion. I consider myself well versed in the Baltimore region and still live in the City.

Once full time as a Realtor, I hit milestones left and right. I found time to look for deals for friends and eventually other clients who were referred to me by other clients. I never did much advertising and I am not a native of Maryland, so I really found success by word of mouth and proven results. As a buyers agent, I helped the buyer negotiate the BEST deal, often better than they'd imagined possible. I taught others how to find good investment deals, place tenants, and refinance and then do it all over again. As a Seller's agent, I utilized the newest media, the Internet, to market properties as well as the traditional bricks and mortar approaches like flyers and open houses.
