My career in real estate began in 2001, when I was employed as an Escrow Assistant at a title company. I then took a position as a New Home Sales Consultant for a homebuilder in Austin, TX. In my 6 years of employment with that builder, I grew to love real estate. I loved the client interaction and I enjoyed learning about construction, and I even enjoyed the challenges that came along with real estate. I loved to see my clients' expressions when they moved into their first new home! Their happiness and excitement was the ultimate reward for me! Although I loved that part of my job, I felt I would be best suited to enter the financial side of the real estate transaction. I love math and working with numbers, but I did not want to lose the possibility of interaction with clients. So, I made the move to the financial industry as a residential mortgage loan officer. I love my job! I have the best of both worlds. I still interact with my clients on a daily basis, and I am able to work with numbers, too. This job continues to challenge me every day as this industry is a moving target (so to speak). Lending guidelines are constantly changing and it is my job to adapt to this ever-changing environment. I enjoy the challenges this position presents me with daily! I love my clients...and most of all, I love providing my clients with a mortgage loan that suits their needs at an affordable price.
