It would really depend on what part of town you are talking about. what neighborhood are talking about? it more than likely not really affect the value, but I will likely affect the marketablilty of those homes for future sales. - Wed May 7 2008, 20:53
Most of the answers by other realtors are pretty much right on. The commute to the airport in traffic can take up to an hour. Every septic system is different. I would recommend getting a septic inspection on any home you pursue. As far as the high number of homes for sale in the area, it’s mainly because a lot of the homes in this area are second homes. Since the economy has shifted, many people have decided to sell. The demographics in this area range from young professionals, families, and retirees. There are quite a few builders who have built in that area. Sometimes with a quick close, and no worries of getting financing the sellers will negotiate. Of course it’s on a case by case basis. However, many of the homes in this higher price range have been sitting on the market longer than usual which makes the sellers more likely go lower the price. feel free to visit my website for more helpful info on schools, taxes, etc. Let me know if there is anything i can do to help make your move as smooth as possible. - Thu May 1 2008, 21:04

There are some firms out there that give draws. Be prepared to learn alot. there is a huge learning curve. you probably wont make any money for a couple of months. You end up learning almost everything in the field. Once you get your license you really just have a license to learn. Its a great business and I love it. but its hard work. Good luck to you. - Wed Apr 16 2008, 11:25
