In Illinois the auction is conducted by the county sheriff or by his representative. You can find the time and place of auction by contacting the sheriff's office for the county where the property is located. Likely the sheriff's office has a web site that will list the properties with date and time of the auction. The properties are sold as-is. The buyer may have the responsibility of any outstanding liens and taxes.
