About Me
Bill Pelot is a native Atlantan who grew up in the Buckhead area and graduated from Georgia State University with a BBA in Management. Bill graduated from the Georgia Institute of Real Estate and is an active member of the Atlanta Board of Realtors as well as the Georgia Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors. His resume includes over thirty years professional sales experience.
He and Rita, his lovely bride of thirty years, live in Marietta, Georgia with their two daughters Paige and Sarah. Rita is an accomplished portrait and watercolor artist and her work can be seen athttp:// www.ritapelot.com.
Bill enjoyed a long career in technical sales in the Aircraft and Aerospace industry before accepting the challenge of a new career in real estate. Bill enjoys golf as well as other sports. He also is an active member of Johnson Ferry Baptist Church and a follower of Jesus Christ.

Interview at least three qualified Brokers and remember, you usually get the level of service you pay for.
Full service Brokers will provide the most for your money and usually produce the fastest result. And remember, you don't owe the Broker anything unless they sell your property. So called, Discount Brokers have a menue of services they offer at variaing prices. This is immediate cash out of pocket for you whether they sell your property or not. Think about it this way, the task you employed someone to do has not been completed, yet you have already paid for it whether it get's done or not. There is no motivation here. Your house is usually your biggest asset, why not choose a professional to handle your transaction and get you the most money, in the shortest time, with the least hassel.

You have described East Cobb County to a tee. The Walton H.S., Dickerson M.S. area is ideal. Cobb County taxes are much less than Fulton County(Roswell) and the schools are rated higher. Your value system will be well represented. Please let me know if I can be of help during your transition to Atlanta.

The lower property taxes and more stable government in Cobb County should be enough to influence your decision. You will also get more house for your money in Cobb.
