I have lived in the Denver metro area for 30 years. I know it VERY well! I love my work, take it quite seriously, but also enjoy the process. I'm an Independent Broker, and have been licensed for 5+ years. Got my start in Real Estate by purchasing distressed properties, fixing and flipping them, made a lot of money! My degree is in Physical Therapy...Go figure! I believe that knowledge is the most powerful tool. I have taken my Real Estate education far beyond the commission requirements. I hope you will consider giving me a call, even with a simple question!
"Holy cow! I don't even know where to begin. We are so very grateful to you. I, in perticular appreciate your counsel, humor, patience and know-how. You held my hand, and put up with freaking out, foul language, and a bit of tearfulness, only for everything to turn out like you always said it would- okay. You are one of a kind, and we will always fondly remember all that you did for us. We truly enjoyed the dinner you made for us, and appreciate taking the time to plan and prepare it - it was a nice farewell to Colorado. Thanks for everything!
Love,
Traci, Chris & Henry"

If you are at all interested in listing with an agent, I would be happy to offer you a reasonable flat fee, that is agreeable to both of us. Unfortunately, you would have to offer compensation to a buyer's agent. Fell free to contact me with any questions!

First, interview a few Realtors simply to get a feel for who you trust. The banks are getting increasingly tougher to deal with, as they are overwhelmed with the number of REO properties in thier inventories. It's also key that you are able to jump on a well priced property the minute it comes on the market, as the well priced ones go fast. Often within hours! Have your pre-approval letter, or proof of funds ready to go to get the offer in. I deal almost exclusively with REO's, and would be happy to discuss further if you like. Even if you simply have more questions, I'm happy to answer. If I happen to be a fit for you, great. If not, no worries!

Fire them! There are many great mortgage brokers out there, and, many bad ones! It's a highly competitive field, and if they can't give you the time of day, move on. Check credentials, and how long they have been in business. Typically only the best stay in business during the tough times. Good luck! - Mon Aug 11 2008, 09:37

No, I did not read the previous posting, my mistake for not looking further. Chris, I do agree with what you said. I simply thought the delivery was wrong, but again, did not go through the entire posting. I also agree with Tman...Times have changed, and to a large extent, we need to change with them, and throw away the pompous attitude, or become statistics of failed approaches. - Thu Jun 12 2008, 08:47

There are many. Depends on square footage you need, number of beds/baths/garage, etc. With no knowledge of any of this I will say Lakewood, Wheat Ridge, Arvada, and parts of Westminster. You can buy a loy more house in Aurora, but be aware of 2 things; property values do not hold anywhere near the more established areas I just mentioned. Plus, stay away from anything north of Mississippi Ave at least, still a fair amount of gang activity there. Any questions, I'm here! diane.king@msn.com - Tue Jun 10 2008, 18:59
