"My husband and I had been trying to sell our home ourselves for several months. We were hoping that we could sell our home ourselves as we had made arrangements with our neighbor to buy her home. My husband put up a sign and I joined one of the “For Sale by Owner” websites. We did everything they suggested but only had one call. We then found out about Ed Finlans “For Sale by Owner First Aid Kit”. We instituted the suggestions in the kit and took Ed up on his offer to use his 800 number. He did not pressure us to sell our home through him, he just offered help. The interest level went up and we did get several showings but we needed to get our home sold quickly since our agreement with our neighbor would expire in about 60 days. "My wife and I had built our home with the idea that we would be there for some time. We were going to sell and live in our motor home and travel but due to some health issues we could not do that anymore. The home we built turned out to be a bit small for our needs so we listed it for sale with the agent that we bought the property from. After about 6 months of little to no activity we cancelled the listing, not knowing what we were going to do. "I really loved my house but when I got transferred to Grays Harbor we had to sell. The first agent we had convinced us that we should do all this work to the house before we sold it. Well, needless to say, it didn’t make our house sell and we had spent all that money doing the things she told us would sell the house. We then tried an agent who was a friend’s relative but all he did was put up a sign and wait, and wait and wait. Once he was out of the picture, we contacted Ed Finlan. "My wife and I got divorced and neither wanted or could afford to live in the house. We had the home for sale with 2 other agents and barely had any showings and had no offers. I even tried to sell the home myself but didn’t have any luck with that either. I was about to give up when I heard about Ed Finlan.
