In order to determine the best price to offer, you'll want to have a Realtor do a market analysis on similar homes that have sold in the area. Not only can they recommend a good offer but they can assist you in negotiation the best price, choosing a home inspector, negotiating for repairs and walking the transaction through a successful close.
A buyer's agent works for the buyer exlusively yet is paid at the end of closing by the seller. The cost to you is nothing yet the benfits are enormous.
