I just found your request about this home and I'm sorry but this is overpriced considering the neighborhood where it is located and the age of the house. I am living in Wailuku Ocean View Estates, minutes from this location and I know this neighborhood very well. I've been a full time realtor on Maui for 8 years and can definitely tell you that even this is a direct ocean front property there is no beach right there. This neighborhood is stretching along lava rocks. It's the best left wave on Maui but absolutely nothing prestigious in this very local neighborhood that justify this price. The lot is also very small and I am wondering who told you that this is not a rough neighborhood anymore?
Mr. Diaz, from Oahu pointed exactly what needs to be said when pricing a property while Mr. Mitchell is comparing this price with properties that are in resort areas and not on the North Shore (nothing comparable).
Believe me... there is no one better than a local agent to answer this type of question.
