Sammy Hastings Realtor®
Sammy Hastings was born in a small town in Bloomington, Indiana. While growing up in Bloomington, Sammy was very active with the Bloomington Philharmonic Orchestra and The Sounds of South, a local Musical Theater group. As well as his love for music, Sammy has a deep connection with animals. Sammy's closest friends growing up were his dogs and horses. Sammy raised, trained and showed Quarter Horses on the Quarter Horse Circuit in the Mid-West, one of his most favorite past times which he still enjoy's. After graduating High School Sammy was unclear of his future plans. Sammy was planning to attend Indiana University and major in Musical Theater but destiny had another plan. A close family friend who was in the Fashion Industry had taken notice of Sammy's keen sense of Fashion, Style, and People Skills while growing up. She felt Sammy had a lot of talent and needed some help and direction; she had him over for lunch and asked him if he would like to live in New York City and work for the FORD Modeling Agency. Sammy was very excited and shocked by the offering and accepted right away. Small town boy was on his way to the big city with much to learn. While in New York City, Sammy worked his way up the Fashion Retail ladder working for Company’s such as J. Crew, Banana republic and mostly for designer Nicole Miller as Director of Visual Merchandising. Sammy lived in NYC for a little over four years and then decided on a move to San Francisco to follow his heart. Once in the Bay Area, Sammy managed the flag ship Z.Gallerie Home Furnishings Store in Palo Alto, opened the flag ship Guess store in downtown San Francisco and was the Regional Visual Merchandising Manager, as well as Director of New Store openings for Pure Beauty. In 2005 after working in Sales, Marketing and Management for 12 years Sammy decided to follow his Aunts advice and start a career in Real Estate. Real Estate was not entirely new to him seeing that his aunt is a broker/owner of six Century 21 offices in Hawaii. Sammy and Real Estate go hand in hand thanks to Sammy's ability to connect and understand many different types of people. After spending only five minutes with Sammy you will start to see his magnetic personality and his superb communication skills. Sammy takes an extremely personal approach to Real Estate by providing unmatched follow-up and high-end customer services. It is easy to understand Sammy’s motto “I am building clients for LIFE not just transactions" after meeting him. If you are looking for someone that will partner with you to insure that all your needs are met without unnecessary force, you have found the person! Sammy will be there for you every step of the way, start to finish. "When my wife and I first started looking for homes, we met numerous real estate agents. Some were good and seemed nice enough, but no one struck us as being anything exceptional. Until we met Sammy.
In a word, Sammy is honest, which is too often a difficult trait to find in the real estate industry. He also truly understands and appreciates the importance of building relationships with people, as opposed to just pursuing a quick sale. Agents may say it, but few, if any, live it the way Sammy does.
Throughout our home purchase, Sammy went above and beyond the call of duty in every way, including helping the sellers pack and cleaning the house once the sellers had left so that it would be nice for us when we moved in.
Sammy's integrity, compassion, and professionalism are truly one of a kind, and we feel very blessed and thankful to have met him. We recommend him highly to all of our friends."

"Dear Sammy,
I am writing this letter to thank you for everything you have done for my sons and me. But, how do you thank an ANGEL? Saying merely “Thank You” will not really capture our gratitude, because when the deed is so outstanding, you do need extraordinary words!
Sammy, you have done so much above and beyond what your duty called for. You needed to deal with extremely challenging and complicated situation. With your deep sensitivity and compassion you were able to accomplish in one day what J." experienced lawyer was not able to do in one year. You handled J. with silken gloves but also with firmness and decisiveness. Like a magician, you turned our house from a trashed, chaotic place into a saleable property.
For me, Sammy, as I have told you many times, you were simply an angel who fell upon me from heaven to make my life peaceful in the midst of all the turmoil. Living in New York while going through a very difficult divorce in San Francisco, having you as our realtor really did feel like I was blessed (and I am not religious!).
I wish you continuous success, Sammy, and I know that no matter with whom you work and under what circumstances, your clients will always be privileged!"

"We can not express our graditude to Sammy for his help in selling our house. He is Amazing. from day one he told us what he was going to do and he went beyond our expectations. Sammy gave us a timeline and he met it. Sammy was open and honest and his communication was there every step of the way. Not a hair out of place. We can think of no higher compliment than to recommend Sammy to everyone we know. Sammy has not only become a friend but apart of the family."

"“Choosing Sammy Hastings as our Realtor was the best decision we made in the home buying experience. Sammy was always there for us and listened to our needs. Sammy strived to find us the nicest home that was within our budget. Sammy patiently worked with us for over one year until we were ready to purchase. Sammy never rushed us or was pushy.”

"My husband and I purchased our first house in June of 2006. We had been living in a condo in San Francisco for 3 years, and with our first baby on the way, we decided that we needed a little more room and that getting out of the city might be a nice change. We met Sammy Hastings at an open house in Daly City during the early part of spring and found him to be extremely open and personable – not pushy at all like many realtors can be. He was great at emailing us various listings in the area and he extremely patient, especially since we were very picky knowing that this would be the home we’d bring our new baby to. During the many months we spent looking, we not only changed our search area several times, but we also went through a couple of offers on different houses until we finally landed on our beautiful new home in Pacifica. Sammy was thoughtful and gracious throughout the whole process – we couldn’t be happier."

"“Working with Sammy Hastings was one of the most stress-free experiences of our lives. He sold our home in less than 2 weeks for over asking price and found us a beautiful new home for our family. We recommend him to all of our friends”

I will follow-up on this for you! Sometime this can be difficult until it is actually listed with an agent. - Tue Apr 22 2008, 10:03
End Unit's do indeed have added value for a couple of reasons: 1.) Added Privacy, you only have one unit that you are sharing a common wall with. 2.) End unit's tend to be a little larger and have additional windows that allow more natural light in. However 3.) If the end unit is near a busy street with lots of traffic it could bring down the value somewhat. - Tue Apr 22 2008, 09:58
