While I’m not personally a fan of condos (they tend not to appreciate as fast or be as desirable as single family homes), if these condos fit into you real estate strategy, then do your due diligence and go for it. You can get more for your money in other desirable locations, and this location is on a very busy street.
Also keep in mind you should plan an “exit strategy”=selling strategy, as well as a buying strategy. For example, ask yourself: How would you market this condo to a seller? Who would be likely buyers of this condo? What are current comparable market values? Where do you see the market for this property in …years? How long would you plan to live there? What are the advanatages and disadvantages of this property? etc.
