What happens with the bank on a short sale is they do an evaluation or comparasion to which is more profitable to them. Short Sale vs Foreclosure. Sometimes it's very close, which seems to be what takes a long time. If the short sale is close to what the seller owes then it doesn't take as long because the bank doesn't have to have as many levels look at the offer. - Sat May 24 2008, 21:06

The stone canyon preserve is a verry nice area. Please don't limit yourself to that area there are many beautiful gated areas within 15 miles of Claremont. One is The Country in Diamond Bar. Many Celeb.s and ball players live in the area. - Sat May 24 2008, 21:00

There are two very good elementary schools in Diamond Bar, One being Golden Springs and the other Pantera. I have lived in DB for 38 years, my children went to Golden Springs while it was rated #1 in the state of CA. - Sun Apr 13 2008, 19:28
