Biographical Information
Prior to joining Frontier Realty, I spent over 35 years in the accounting and finance area in the private business sector. I graduated from Arkansas State University with a Bachelor of Science degree, with a major in accounting and a minor in military science. Before entering the private business sector, I spent two years as an officer in the U. S. Military and two years in public accounting. I was a certificated public accountant for many years.
During my years of business experience, I was involved in the acquisition and disposition of many types of businesses including cattle ranching, mining, manufacturing, distribution, and other smaller retail and customer service businesses. This experience required me to work with many independent accountants, attorneys and a number of large financial institutions.
I was raised in a small town in Arkansas. After living in eight different states, I now live in Wapiti, Wyoming, with my wife Dorenda whom I have been married to for 42 years. I am a former president of the Memphis, Tennessee chapter of the Institute of Management Accountants and have served as an advisor to Mutual of New York Insurance Company.

Just for clarification, Cody is in Park County and not Shoshone County. It is my opinion that the Wapiti Valley outside of Cody is the most scenic part of Wyoming. It is between Cody and the East Gate of Yellowstone National Park and borders the Shoshone National Forest. I agree that Wyoming is a place people are looking for to enjoy retirement, a change in life style, or have vacation homes. So far property values in our area are still affordable and the values have not escalated like they have in Teton County. It is my opinion that within the next five years, this area will have one of its largest increases in property values than it has had in a number of years. Before moving to Wyoming, I lived in 8 different states. This is the only one that I chose, the others were chosen by my employer. Where can i find recent home sales for Cody Wyoming?

In Wyoming, the sales price of real estate is not public information and the only way to get comparable sales date is from a Realtor that is a member of the local MLS.
As a Realtor and a member of the Cody area MLS, I would be happy to prepare a Comparative Market Analysis for your niece; however, I would need to look at the property. This is a service I do for clients that are interested in selling their home.
