I have lived in Austin since 1993 and truly would not live anywhere else. I love what Austin has to offer in terms of affordable housing, great schools, great employers, live music and the lakes. Before I started my career in real estate I was an executive recruiter and helped hundreds of families relocate to the Austin area. This experience coupled with my education and real estate experience has been instrumental in providing my clients with the best service possible. I am a dynamic, hard-working and dedicated Realtor who continually strives to exceed client expectations. I incorporate the latest in technology and leading edge marketing with skillful negotiating. Besides my dedication to my husband and three children, I enjoy traveling, reading and competing in triathlons.

Hi Jonelle,
I live in SW Austin and I have intimate knowledge of the area. I would be happy to supply your client with an in-depth market analysis to see if it is the right time to sell. If it's possible, I would like to access the property in order to give you the most accurate number.
Please feel free to send me an email or give me a call I will get started immediately.
Thanks,

Jim Reed at 512.349.7333 or jreed@jamesreed.com is a great real estate attorney. - Wed Jun 4 2008, 09:51
I strongly disagree with the last positing. Only the buyer has the unrestricted right to terminate within the option period. The seller is not obligated to do any requested repairs but they do not have the right to terminate based solely on the option period. - Tue May 20 2008, 12:35
Hi Aaron,
It all depends on the terms of the agreement. If the seller added contingencies in the special provisions with the right to terminate than he can. However, it is rare that the seller has the right to terminate if you have met the terms of the agreement and you are not in default. I suggest giving my real estate attorney a call to see if he can help. Jim Reed at (512) 349-7333. Did the seller give you any explanation as to why he changed his mind? - Tue May 20 2008, 12:27
Hi Osisis,
I get asked the safety question a lot and it is difficult for anyone to answer for you. Everyone's idea of safety is different and you are the only one that can determine if an area is safe. I would be happy to supply you with the web sites to determine the rate and type of crime in any area you are interested in. I also recommend spending time driving through the neighborhoods after dark and on the weekends to see if it is a good fit. Another factor to consider is schools ratings. I am not sure if schools are a concerns for you at this point but the ratings do effect resale value and I would be happy to supply those as well. New construction will effect East Austin in a positive way and bring more buyers, restaurants, shopping and entertainment adding value to your purchase. I would love the opportunity to learn more about what you are looking for in your next home and answer any other questions you might have. Please feel free to contact me directly via my mobile number or email.

Hi Jan,
I hope you have an opportunity to move to Austin. Austin has a lot to offer a young family in terms of affordable housing, great schools and entertainment. Your research on Austin shows and these are great neighborhoods to focus your search on. I would also include Rosedale, Crestview, Brentwood and Hyde Park. These are all located in central Austin within close proximity to the best Catholic schools and offer the style of construction you are looking for. Your budget and size requirements will determine which neighborhood fits best. I would be happy to set up a customized web site for you with homes in these areas so you are educated the price range and taxes for each neighborhood. I can also include a cost of living analysis comparing Knoxville to Austin to help in the decision making process. Let me know the best way to deliver this information by contacting me directly. - Thu May 15 2008, 08:14
