When you say your Realtor isn't good, just how did you reach that conclusion? Is he a new Realtor and just inexperienced? Or do you feel there's a personality conflict? Is he not doing things you ask him to? What isn't he doing that you feel a different Realtor could do for you? Many times people will just decide that they don't like someone's personality or beliefs and would rather choose to work with someone more like minded. In my experience, if I have a client that for some reason doesn't seem to want to continue working with me, I am more than happy to let them walk. Even if I have invested time with them, I would prefer they find another Realtor rather than try to force them to work with me. To do so is a lose / lose situation. If however you generally like your agent, but just feel he's not as experienced as you would like, I am sure talking to him about this would motivate him to include another agent from his office to add input and experience to the mix. Many agents will work their own internal referal rates for such instances and it doesn't cost you anything. - Tue Jul 28 2009, 09:24
