Agents should be available to preserve, protect, & promote your interests. Our business is dictated by the tyranny of the urgent. Those that are willing to serve at the drop of the hat are the ones who will be in the best position to get you that great deal. A typical "weekend" for a good agent may only be half a day off on Monday to mow. (Ask my wife...) On how to break the news to your friend, don't ask me :) I can be entirely, adamantly forthright with all of my friends & family.
