Welcome to Keller Williams Realty, the Carrie Crowell team in Baton Rouge, LA
A home is not a home because of its room dimensions or the color of the walls. It is about how you feel when you walk through the front door. And the way you can instantly envision your life unfolding there.
This is about more than real estate. It is about your life and your dreams.
Different by design
Keller Williams Realty takes a different approach to real estate, one that is built on personal touches, win-win deals and positive results.
Carrie Crowell utilizes the latest technologies, market research and business strategies to exceed your expectations. More importantly, we listen and that means we find solutions that are tailored to you.

Soapiesmon,
I agree with Keith and a few of the others. The best remedy would be to make a good list of your complaints. Have a discussion with you, your listing agent and your broker. If you are not satisfied that your agent is working for you, put them on notice that you will not renew with them. The newspaper does not sell homes. It has become an obsolete tool. Most buyers find their new home on the internet before and agent is even involved. Find out what kind of on-line marketing the agent has in place other than the website. Good Luck! - Sun Mar 2 2008, 21:48
Rosaria,
You have asked a great question! Typically a buyer works with one agent. Elvis brought up some very good points about buyer loyalty and agent responsibilities. It is good to interview more than one agent if you want to. You will get better service and an agent that will fight harder for you should you have an unforseen snag in the deal if you have been loyal to one agent. Good Luck with your process. I am curious about the question. Is there more to the story? - Sun Mar 2 2008, 21:38
Like Deborah said you could get a loan. Can you take a little time to increase your score. Have you spoken to an expert to see how long it would take and what you would have to do to increase your score. It would be to your advantage to up your number. - Mon Feb 11 2008, 21:35

If you are looking for help, I would look into a property management company. They do a credit check and screen all applicants, the collect the rent etc. You pay them a small fee off of each months rent. They will usually have a bigger applicant pool to choose from. Good Luck! If you want to know about property management, research your area on line, and ask some agents if they would recommend one for you. - Fri Feb 8 2008, 08:31
