It is my understanding that these tax credits do not apply when sale is between family relationships. This may include selling a home to yourself. The tax credits are for the purpose of creating residential arms length transactions. Your question involves some variables that you want to check with a tax expert. The IRS is going to be on the look out for any sales that do not qualify.
