I would suggest getting in touch with a real estate agent as soon as possible. My wife and I are full time agents and have seen an increase in activity on our listings in the last couple of weeks. It seems that there are actually buyers out there again! I would not wait too long to get your home on the market. When the new year comes in, you will be facing an increase in your competition since a good deal of people wait until the Spring to list. With the internet, buyers are doing more research on the internet before actually hitting the street to see homes. This limits the impact bad weather has had traditionally before the age of the internet on actively marketing and selling a home.
My wife and I would be happy to put together a Comparative Marketing Analysis, an Area Marketing Analysis, current statistics and other information relevant to buying and selling real estate for you with no obligation or cost to you.
