It completely depends on your lifestyle. I am expecting right now and currently my husband and I live in a condo. Although it will be difficult not having a yard for a while it is very convenient for us because we both have full time jobs and do not have time to be taking care of the maintenance in a home. Once your baby is a little older you may find that having green space is more important though, so if you are looking to stay long term I would recommend a home with a backyard if you have that option.
