In 2005 I was 1st place winner of the Educational Achievement Award for Greater Kalamazoo Association of Realtors. I have earned my CRS,ABR,GRI,ASP and e-PRO designations. In 2006 I received my Associate Brokers License for the state of Michigan. In 2007 I received my Brokers License for the state of Florida.

I am confused about the Buyer's Agent commission. I am a first time home buyer and called an agent to help me

The commission on the Buyers side is paid by the seller usually. Sometimes a Buyer has to pay a Transaction fee at closing. Your Buyers agency contract should specify that the Seller pays the commission on th Buyers side for the Buyer. - Tue May 6 2008, 12:45
