As a Realtor myself I feel I can safely say there is no way around offending these agents. I agree whole heartedly with Duncan. Why let 4 agents work for you when you know, in the end, you will only be hiring 1 agent. I want to be clear, I encourage you to shop around & find the agent that offers you the best fit. Based on your question it seems that you let all 4 agents work for you under the false pretense that they would, in the end, represent you. The "high road" can be a lonely place but all of this could be avoided two ways. First, when you initially contacted these agents they could've asked you what should be a standard question..."Are you currently working with an agent?" Second, you should respect the fact that agents are competitive & work extremely hard for their clients. That being said, avoid this feeling of despair by picking the agent that best meets your needs from the beginning. I agree. I think if you are going to provide information on any topic you are doing an injustice to all agents by not being informed. I live in TN & I know nothing about CO. - Wed Apr 23 2008, 11:16
