Does price inc land and everything?

Vicki answered:
Yes the price you see includes the home and the land it sits on. You should see the lot size on the listing. - Sun Jul 20 2008, 07:34

We're planing to move to Mobile-Spanish Fort area.

Vicki answered:
I looked up commercial property for sale in the Spanish Fort area and found some in the 400 to 500 thousand price range. Commercial land starts at 85 thousand in the I-10 Commerce Center. It runs about the same in Mobile. I also found a couple of nice ones there. You can see from these prices what it would cost to buy ready built. It hard to say how much it would cost to build without talking to a builder.
I look up rental property in the Spanish Fort and Mobile area. I picked like properties in Spanish Fort and Mobile. The property tax for the Spanish fort house was $998 and the Mobile was $1625. The Spanish Fort rented for $1600 amonth and the Mobile one for $1332 a month. I also compared 1800-2000sqft in both areas and Spanish Fort was between 165 and 240 thousand. In Mobile there is a wider range in price for the same sqft 100-250 thousand.
Baldwin County schools have a lot to offer.
I can send you the properties that I pulled.
I know that I didnt really answer your question I just gave you the facts that i found so that you could judge for yourself. - Tue Apr 15 2008, 13:32

WHY IS MY PROPERTY INFO LISTED TO THE PUBLIC????!!!!!?

Vicki answered:
Once your property is recorded in the court house the public can view the info on that property.
In Baldwin County the public records can be viewed online. I can pull up the property appraisal, property tax, and deed info. - Wed Mar 19 2008, 07:35
Vicki answered:
We have a state income tax and we have a sales tax on groceries. That is a few of the ways that it evens out the taxes. I am sure there are other items that we are taxed on that some states dont tax. I hope you enjoy your move to Birmingham. - Sun Mar 16 2008, 13:59
Vicki answered:
Hi Chris, the others have already given some good info on where to look up schools.
I have lived in Baldwin County for most of my life and it is a great place to be. I have friends that live in Baldwin County and commute to Mobile. I guess it just depends on what is important to you. - Sat Mar 8 2008, 18:09
