I think immediately of Renaissance Commons in Boynton Beach. There are many stores right across the street for everything you want, and some within the community. These are newer units and it is a large community. In Boca Raton, the Boca Grande and Palmetto Place, and other smaller older condos are walking distance to Mizner Park, Royal Palm Park and perhaps to 2 dozen plus restaurants, many shoppes and boutiques. In Delray Beach, units off Atlantic Avenue are located near shopping, etc.

Is Green Acres a nice and safe place to live?

Today there are 200 single family homes available in Green Acres. 79 are in gated communities. 51 of them were built since 2000. These are very nice communities. As for safety, you can obtain a recent police report from the local precinct. Look it up on google.com. Many years ago I got coverage for my son with this company when he was at college, and when I became an insurance agent, I remembered them, and use them now for some of my clients.
