South Beach sounds like it would be a good fit and is very affordable. There are outdoor restaurants, Lincoln Mall and lots to do or just relax on the Beach. Rentals are everywhere. Call me if I can send you some-Pam-EWM Realtors-305-216-5864 - Yesterday, 08:32

The two places that come to mind are Coconut Grove or Miami Beach. Both have condo's are reasonable prices. You could rent too to make sure before putting down money. I'd be happy to help you-give me a call-Pam Mayers-EWM Realtors-305-216-5864 - Mon Apr 21 2008, 05:59

Are you looking for a property you can use on occasion when you come over-then go with a condo hotel. You can rent it by the night and use it when ever you want if you tell the rental agent ahead of time. Check the rules to make sure of the details. If you are buying a house look for an established community then new construction. I would be happy to help you-Pam Mayers-EWM-305-216-5864 - Sat Apr 19 2008, 05:08
Enzo-I would decide whether you want a condo or a house. The condo market is still going down and there is more risk there than a house. A condo is good from your vantage point because they keep up with the upkeep. Look into condo hotels. You need to put 20% down, which is not a problem with cash, but they can be rented out all year and it is usually easy to pull them out if you come over. Wow-how frustrating! I'm not sure if you have had the house listed or you are a for sale by owner. You seem to have a good idea of the pricing of the market but are afraid to put it at rock bottom. There are always people who will low ball you but I have noticed with my listings that price it very well the offers that come in are very close to the price. People are buying the well priced homes. To be one step behind the market is as good as 10 steps behind these days. EWM has super marketing in many aspects of the real estate market. You want to reach the people buying with money, not just the people shopping to see what the price of there property should be. Give me a call and I will be happy to list your property if it is not already. Exposure is everything. Good Luck-Pam Mayers-EWM Realtor-305-216-5864 - Fri Apr 18 2008, 12:22
