Good morning Jan,
We hope this email finds you well.
It really depends on your neighborhood and what your plans are after you sell.
Like the previous answer, it is a great time to buy! So you might not make exactly what you would like on the selling side but you may make it up on the buying side. This is not a "bad" market it's just a different market then what we are used to. Homes on the market have to look like a shiny new penny and priced correctly.
We have been working in the North Fulton areas for the past 24 years. So feel free to call us should you need more information about your neighborhood.
Good Luck!

Good morning Lizabeth,
We hope this email finds you well.
Of course, your price range is the first item we need to determine and what that price range can get you. Start with the area closest to your husband's job then move out. No need to live too far out if it’s not necessary. There is affordable housing in Alpharetta and very good schools. Roswell is also a close commute with award winning schools. Forsyth County also has some great schools.
We are both originally from Atlanta and have done Real Estate in the North Fulton and surrounding areas for over 24 years. So feel free to call us and pick our brains!
Good Luck with everything! - Wed May 21 2008, 05:49

Good morning Shakti,
It can be quite cumbersome for a person to get the Sold stats for a neighborhood.
We primarily work in the Roswell and Alpharetta areas. we have lived in Roswell for the past 20 years, so feel free to email us and we would be happy to get you what you are looking for. tasha@atlantarealtyteam.com

Hello Nikki,
Your first step is to speak with a lender. Figure out what you are comfortable paying each month and the lender can translate that into a mortgage amount and sales price amount. From there you can decide if you want a condo, townhome or single family home. Do you know which area you are interested in? Do you like the area your school is in? Just some questions to think about.
Then interview a few Real Estate agents. Ask questions and pick someone you feel is knowledgeable, who you feel comfortable with and whom you feel can best suit your needs. The buying process can be a little intimidating so don't get too nervous. It will be well worth it.
Good luck with graduate school! - Fri Apr 11 2008, 07:11
