""In late 2004 we contacted Steve Towe about our desire to own a parcel of rural land - a parcel that we could develop and enjoy with our children for many years. At that time we were not personally acquainted with Steve, be we knew his parents and thought very highly of his father who had done landscaping work for us several years before. We were specific about what we wanted and Steve offered several suggestions about other features that would make the land more usable and valuable. He informed us that it might take several months or more to find exactly what we wanted. In 2005 he called to tell us that he had found what we were looking for in the price range that we had given him - and the parcel he found exceeded our expectations and requirements. I appreciated the fact that we did not spend our time looking at property that was not appropriate for our needs. What separates Steve from the "typical" broker is his continuous involvement after the sale to help ensure that the land is used and developed to its potential. He helped us develop a vision for our land which included building a road, and a lake, and creating beautiful fenced pasture land. He helped us with contacts to perform the various stages of the development. Even now his is always available for questions and advice. It is clear to us that his focus is on preserving and beatifying our rural land here in Western NC, and helping people like my family learn and develop an appreciation for what we have here, in these mountains.
