About Bonnie Gilbert: Her education includes a BS in Business Administration and a Certificate from Cumbie and Trull School of Real Estate. Her background is Customer Service based and after moving to Asheville, she began an Assistant position to real estate Broker, Jeanette Syprzak. Interested in expanding her knowledge and credentials in the Real Estate industry, she attend real estate classes and received my North Carolina real estate license. Bonnie is a licensed NC Broker, a member of the Asheville Board of Realtors, a NCFHA preferred first-time buyers agents, and E-Pro certified.

what about parking?

Hi Katherine,
I have showed one of those units to Buyers in the past. The parking is in an uncovered common lot on the property and there is street parking in much of Montford, the community where this property is located. The property is next to the Reed Creek greenway and is walking distance to downtown Asheville.

I searched the MLS for this listing, 462 Weaverville Road, and came up with no listings. It was not listed as for sale, sold, of under contract in our MLS. It may be a for sale by owner or have in accurate listing information on the Trulia website. I have a listing in the Creekside Neighborhood. The neighborhood is small, only 32 homes, and is one of a few 55+ communities in Asheville. The association maintains the exterior of each home including the landscaping and the structure itself. They are constantly doing work to maintain the homes and landscape in the community. A positive that I see for you is that the property that the Creekside Neighborhood is on is already developed. You could be looking at an undeveloped piece of property that you have no idea what will be put there in the future.

Are there any mid-century modern homes in Asheville?

Hello Logan,
Yes, there are mid-century modern homes in Asheville- usually you will find pockets of these homes in various older neighborhoods scattered though-out the city of Asheville. My real estate partner is a huge fan of this style. Some of the homes will need TLC to freshen-up and revive their intended architectural style. Lately, I have been seeing more of an appreciation growing in our area for this style of home. I have toured several renovated mid-century modern homes in the past year that were amazing- usually redone by local architects with a love for this style. You should be able to find renovated mid-century modern home or you could purchase one in need of renovation if you are into doing projects. This style is not the dominate style in Asheville, but there are many pockets of them around. Our area actually has a great variety of architectural styles for such a small city. I hope this was helpful.
