If you are looking to get out of the hustle and bustle of the big city then you should check out our website for the Hickory Metro Area. We have alot to offer in a more small town feel with most all of the amenities of Charlotte and larger areas. We have great school systems and your price range would give you many options in this area, and the commute to Charlotte is around and hour. We also do alot of work with relocations from out of state.

You would need to have an actual adress for the property. There really is no way to get an average because the location dictates the taxes that will be paid on a property. Taxes will be different rates in each couty or city that the property is in. You will also need the address because some houses may only pay county taxes if they are not in the city limits, while properties in city limits will pay both county and city taxes. If there is a particular property that you are interested in I would suggest contacting a local realtor in that particular market and they could get the tax information for you.

Who wrote the quitclaim and to whom was it written?
A quitclaim is normally used to clear up any clouds on the title. If they signed away their own potential rights to the property then that should be fine.
