Additionally, I will answer my phone when you call, that is unless I am with a client, in this case please leave a message and I will call you back immediately. My clients always come first...! Call me to find out about the newest incentives that are being offered to buyers. Buy a home, save the country.
Testimonials
"I am a first time buyer in the city of Baltimore. My sister told me about this great real estate agent that she was working with. His name was Sam Whatley. I asked my sister to give me his contact information and I gave Sam a call. Sam was very patient with me. He showed me many homes in the areas that I was interested in. He showed me the deficiencies and the better attributes of all of the homes that we saw. Boy, I thought that I knew a lot of things about homes. This man showed me and told me things that surely would have gone un-noticed if I had not worked with him. He is truly a consumate and very efficient professional. Yet, he puts you at ease and makes everything plain and simple. Working with Sam was a very memorable and educational experience. I will surely refer all of my friends to him and he will surely sell me all of the homes that I will buy in the future. Thank you Sam!!!"

The only area of Glen Burnie that I know of that is not in the direct flight path of BWI is adjacent to Ritchie Hwy. It is difficult to know exactly where the planes don't fly because the flight paths change on a weather based basis. You may be able to do a search on the Thurgood Marshall Baltimore Washington International Airport website to get more specific information. Best wishes. Sam - Thu Apr 24 2008, 12:08

Chaundra, my advice to you would be to place the money in the bank and let the buyers tell you what they need to make the deal close. You can try to "channel" what you may think that the buyer will want, but most of the time you will loose. You can put in a new carpet, but they may not like the color. You can put in ceramic tiles, but they may want hardwood. You can put in a theater room, but they may want a recreation / workout room. The best thing to do with your money is to hold it and let the buyer(s) tell you what they want. Best wishes... Sam - Thu Apr 24 2008, 11:53

Of course LOCATION (x3), price, condition. I think that these are the top three. It helps to have good presence on the Internet as well. And finally, a good rapport with your REALTOR is of great importance. Happy Selling! Best wishes... Sam - Thu Apr 24 2008, 11:47

Tasha, I think that your decision to buy is one that should be applauded! There has been no better time to buy in recent years. The interest rates are low, the housing inventory is high, which means that this is the "perfect" environment to make an offer on a property that may be accepted by the seller. I will tell you that there is a program in Anne Arundel County that can help you get more home for your money. The program is called the C.D.A. / M.A.P. program. This program is federally funded program administered by the county and it can help you by providing up $30,000.00 in down-payment and closing assistance. Go to the following website http://www.acdsinc.org . The money has to payed back after you have finished paying for your home, but it is interest free and it will help you get a bigger, better home now. If you wait for the conditions to be perfect, you may be waiting forever... What is perfect? How do you know when the perfect time is? In my opinion, the time is right now and you may not know when the "bottom" is reached until it is too late. Best wishes... Make your best offer. Good luck. Sam - Thu Apr 24 2008, 11:21

Of course, each and every deal is as individual as each and every person is. I have noticed that the prices are being lowered, which I am thankful for. I can't imagine how much homes would be when my children are of age to buy if prices kept going the way that they were. But I have noticed that the prices are being reduced from 10-20% or more. It really depends on how badly the seller needs to sell the home. In this area a lot of sellers are in the military and have orders that send them to other parts of the country or other parts of the world. They simply must get out from under the property that they are in. Some of them have to carry two house notes and they simply must sell, those are the people that will be more willing to look at a drastically lower offer. There are also those that are in distress. They will also probably accept a lower offer. But again, it is up to the individual. There is no constant! Make your best offer. Thanks!!! Sam - Thu Apr 24 2008, 08:16
