Question removed

Denise Sands answered:
Placing an offer on a Foreclosure can be frustrating. The banks do not have enough staff, and do not wish to hire the staff, to handle the foreclosures coming in the door. There is a very specific procedure for the bank to follow which involves the final bid. Multiple offers (with no response) are common. Your agent was telling you the truth as of that date. Patience is the key to purchasing a foreclosure. Most offers will be withdrawn by the time the bank gets to finishing up the sale. So hang in if you want the house; if you really need to move, keep your options open and look for another home until you hear from the bank. Anticipate up to a a six month wait to go to settlement. - Sun Sep 6 2009, 07:15
