WOW! my guess is the builder is the one who created the contract you signed. Without seeing the contract it is hard to know what liability each party has. I would as a bare minimum have the contract reviewed by a real estate atttorney but i might also be inclined to double check the township in addition.Not getting permits is like forgetting your hammer when you are a builder.....something does not add up!!

You need to call the tax assesment office where you live. This issue is usually local in its resolution.....some areas do and some areas hold county wide assesments on a formal schedule.California is famous for propositon 13, I believe it was called. - Thu Jan 24 2008, 20:22
It seems that schools usually drive a parents' choice and also drive prices! Schools.org will give some insight as will ameeting with individual school admin people. LVH is the major emplyer in that region; it has some off campus sites so you may want to resolve that.....Bethlehem to Blandon is your basic nightmare drive on a Friday.
