This is a great question. How low can I go without insulting the seller? I have to agree with Steve and Joan for the most part, don't get caught up in worrying about the seller's reaction to your offer. Bottom line is, you aren't going to pay more than you want and the seller isn't going to sell for less than they want. All of the emotional stuff in between is neither here nor there.
