Though that list offered is helpful, it is not correct. The numbers are not including special district charges and such. Ignore it.

As Kathleen said, ask a professional. Either a Real Estate Agent, or an Assessor. The Assessor will have far more accurate figures, the Real Estate agent will have far greater areas to pool general rates from.

Either way, your first concern in buying a home should not be the taxes. Buy a home firstly because you WANT to live there. 30 years of misery will never justify saving money. Once you find a home you think you'll like, then call an Agent or an Assessor for taxes. - Fri Jun 20 2008, 12:28
