Hello,

when you sign a note you're definitely liable for the dept, you can definitely fight it with the lender or at least negotiate the note amount .

I would recommend to close the short sale any way.... the note is a none secured loan and is usually easier to deal with than on a secured MTG - Wed Dec 2 2009, 07:39
