While waiting for someone with first hand knowledge of Hastings to respond - If being close to your only daughter is your goal and Hastings is a consideration- The Chamber / Tourism Bureau website link with visitor, Community and local attractions, shopping and dining information may help acquaint you a bit with the community and possibly answer a few of your questions. Please double check and make sure this is the area you're questioning- if so I hope it shines some light - while awaiting response from someone there locally.

what is sellers concession?

Teresa Berry answered:
Generally Seller concessions are...something the seller is willing to offer or asked to grant - that benefits the other party to the transaction....(namely the buyer presumably)

For instance: a seller may offer or be asked to split the cost for a repair before closing, or possibly to offer a credit of some sort toward the purchase such as a carpet allowance, or even amounts toward the buyers closing costs. Basically the term is used to describe a compromise of sorts....offered from or asked of the seller to contribute toward the transaction and usually it is to the advantage of the other party somehow - monetary or otherwise. I believe it could be something as simple as agreeing to make a concession for changing a date for closing but the idea is that the seller is giving something, or conceeding something in the negotiations. I hope that helps get the general idea across without being too long winded. Best to you! - Wed May 21 2008, 16:52

Question removed

Teresa Berry answered:
Hi Bonnie, You are showing up on my end as a Real Estate Pro - so looks like you are already updated!but since I'm here I'll answer in case someone else has the question - log in and from the top tool bar area (top right corner) find "My Trulia" and from the drop down list SELECT "My Profile". or if there is an "Edit you profile" sentence near the top right of your page that should also take you to the profile page . From there CLICK "edit personal info" "button and from the top section where it says "I'M A: select from the " drop down list" "Real Estate Professional" and then click the SAVE button. Hope that was correct and not too long winded and from what I see you figured it out without help. Yeah! - Wed May 21 2008, 15:50

Hi Kim, you’ve received a nice variety of responses and even at this late date I’ll chime in too. Everett is home to a hockey team, a Mariner Affiliate baseball team, a few large employers, a variety of small businesses, arts and cultural sites of interest, indoor and outdoor year-around-activities including parks, trails, recreation and miles of shoreline (both fresh and saltwater). There is Comcast Arena, Everett Events Center, Everett Performing Arts, the Snohomish County Administrative Campus...and the list goes on.
The “Live, Work, Play” City of Everett website is a hearty well organized internet site with loads of information, event listings and communities to explore. I recently listed a terrific home blocks from Broadway in Everett and I’d love to invite you to enjoy a virtual online tour as a sample of the many wonderful homes in Everett.
