David Vipler is the Resident Broker at the Corinthian Condominums in the Murray Hill section of Manhattan. at 330 East 38th Street at First Avenue. The Corinthian is the largest residential condominium in New York with 863 units. He specilaizes in both rental and sales to private families, investors, and UN Mission personnel on assignment in New York. He has lived and worked in the Corinthian since it was built in 1988. He is extremely knowledgeable about the building and would be happy to guide you through the rental or sales process..

Volume is down but prices are actually up this year vs last year. It continues to be a buyers market with more inventory. Although many listings are still at higher prices, the actual offers and deals are getting m,ade at lower prices. Tthe gap between the asking and sales price is widening. In modern condos with amenitiues, like the Corinthian where I live and work, prices are appproximately $1100/SF for a 1 BR and $1200/SF for a 2 BR. Slightly lower on low floors and slightly higher for high floors.
