Hi Newbuyer,
There are many homes in Edison and Iselin in your price range. The two stations you can take advantage of are Metro Park, which of course would be easily accessible from Iselin and North Edison and the other is the South Edison train station which is on Central Ave and Plainfield Ave. You might also be interested in Metuchen since it is a very desirable town with a train station. I know that you identified yourself as a new buyer, but I wonder if you are a first time homebuyer. If so, you can take advantage of the $8000 tax credit offered by the state. There is also grant money for 1st time buyers to help with downpayment or closing costs. I would love to assist you with your real estate needs. Please let me know your criteria and when you are looking to purchase. - Mon Apr 27 2009, 12:10
