The flooding that nhappened a few years ago happened because the private dams that people had on their properties, gave out. After this there was some talk of the state having to have madatory inspections of those. And yes, the higher then usual rainfall and water runoff that year contributed to the dam failures.

I've sold many homes with septic systems and DiMeglio has been the best.

You definitely need to check with a lawyer, b ut if you're ona month-to-month (which I will presume you are and you pay your rent on a monthly basis) NJ law requires only a 30 day notice. But I can't comment on what legal recourse you have or your landlord has if you stay longer then the 30 days. Check with a lawyer to find out what your legal exposure is. - Tue Mar 25 2008, 16:04
