My colleague is right, each deal has a different time factor. Some banks are more cooperative, some less. If the homeowner has already approached the bank for short sale approval at a certain price level, that makes things a bit quicker. What also holds things up are any needed repairs which must also be paid for by the bank and approvals given. Are you working with a buyers' agent now?
