Hi- there are a lot of variables- are you behind in your mortgage(I assume) Is there any equity in the home? I would consult with a Realtor or Attorney one on one, as to the process of having your Sister purchase. If it has no or negative Equity, then it could be possible your Sister could obtain it through a short sale process(purchasing for less than owed), either way the best advice would be to consult with a Professional as to get the correct info- Good Luck with it! - Thu Apr 24 2008, 13:27
If you have a Buyer Broker signed with this Agent on that particuolar home tham your hands are tied unless the Agent is willing to let you out of contract. The Agent(if not having time or personal issues) should have another Agent in their office write the offer for you would be my suggestion. Even with all the doom and gloom in the papers(in Ct anyway) homes are selling if priced correctly and if this home falls in that category, there might be the chance that someone else may get to it first.... - Tue Apr 22 2008, 10:44
MY EXPERTISE IN THE HORSE WORLD COMES FROM CO-OWNING AND OPERATING A 14 STALL BOARDING AND RIDING FACILITY IN THE TOWN OF MERIDEN. EQUINE PEOPLE FEEL CONFIDENT WORKING WITH ME BECAUSE OF THIS.
