Adding a texture stucco exterior to my home, good value or not?

I have been a plastering and stucco contractor for 30+ years, and I would suggest that a stucco exterior would be better because of its durability to the elements. With all the new acrylic synthetic stucco finishes and colors it would dress up your home rather nicely and another plus is that stucco is more fire proof therefore adding protection for your family. I have found that most of the very expensive homes have a stucco exterior not only for its beauty, but because it does add value. If the stucco is done right, I think it will be the nicest home on the block.
