Is Tucker, GA a good place to live and How are the school systems there?

I am a resident of Tucker. I love the proximity to Atlanta and the small-town feel. If you move here, be selective with regards to school district. They are hit or miss, particularly at the elementary school level. Also, steer clear of the Gwinnett side of Tucker. While you can typically get a bit more for your money there, the commute can be more prohibitive (given that the Gwinnett side of Tucker is farther away from Atlanta) and the neighborhoods typically aren't as stable. - Tue Feb 26 2008, 20:08
