Can you describe how The Woodlands looks and feels for a person that has never lived here?

The thing that is most noticeable when you first move here is its sheer size - The Woodlands very comparable in size to the island of Manhattan!

It is self-contained city. The Woodlands offers enough in recreation and entertainment options to make excursions to downtown Houston an infrequent option if you so choose.

With the recent growth of higher density housing close Market Street, Woodlands Mall and the Waterway, it is fast approaching its goal of being a community (a city in effect) for people of all ages. - Tue Jun 19 2007, 13:13
