Schools are important (have 2 children under 3), don't know where we will work yet in the area (husband likely downtown) and we are not so much interested in big homes with land, but ones right for a small family (ie good sense of community, things to do for kids, some need for updates is ok) with the potential for buying a vacation home later. We also have a nanny, and might like space for her and visiting in laws (in my dream home).
We are buying in the next few months...are there areas that are "undervalued" at this point? I have heard great things of course about Newton, Wellesley, etc but we are just as happy living in areas close by or not well known if it involves saving $. - Fri Aug 1 2008, 20:57
