We can't afford a house with a yard in San Francisco. Can someone let me know the best section and any tips?

Beryl, have you considered Bernal Heights in San Francisco? There are some affordable homes and two-unit buildings with lovely backyards. And, it's as dog-friendly as you can get. I have lived there for 3 years and have to say it's my favorite neighborhood in SF (I've lived in the city for 10 years). - Tue Dec 18 2007, 08:57
