Michael answered:
Cary, Wake Forest, and Apex are all good places to build a custom home. You will find many 2nd, 3rd and 4th generation builders in this area, building in price ranges from $300s - $4 millions. GreyHawk Landing in Cary is a excellent neighborhood with an outstanding build team. I'll name a few more for you here. Great Neighborhoods to build a custom home in the Triangle area of North Carolina in my opinion are: Heritage Wake Forest, Highcroft Village, Renaissance Park, Amberly. If you've got the money or desire you might look at Hasentree, Linville, The Barony. That's just the tip of the ice burg. There are easily 100 top neighborhoods throughout the triangle area. You could also start your search for a custom builder at the Triangle Builders Guild, a group of 29 of the areas best independent custom builders. Hope that helps get you started! - Thu Oct 9 2008, 05:22
