I have an oppotunity to relocate to Memphis,TN. What is the quality of life,schools,housing market,etc..?

Don't move into the city limits. Move to a nearby area like Collierville, Cordova or Germantown. Beware of the Hickory Hill area and Whitehaven. My in-laws unfortunately still live in Memphis and my parents moved away, thank God! Visiting the city will not give you enough time to get the real flavor of the city. I can't say what I really think on this forum, but find a local in the city who's willing to talk and you'll get an earful.
