really? which house are you looking at? Barry and Susan's? I'd guess so, since that's for sale. Congrats to you and to them, its a lovely home. I think you are really going to like the neighborhood too, lots of good folks. - Wed Apr 16 2008, 13:03
No links yet, but I'm helping to set up a website about the houses, which will include links to her artwork. I'll post here when its up and running. - Thu Mar 20 2008, 14:28
Hello. I just saw your response now. How interesting that she was your great aunt! Mary Champenois moved a few years back (but only a few miles away), Greentree is still in her house on Sheep Hill. I just sold my house across the street from hers, with two kids it was getting a bit cramped. I still have the paintings, I love them for what they are, and who knows? Maybe when the kids get older I'll find myself in one of these fine old homes again.
Thanks for the response. - Thu Mar 6 2008, 09:57
I live in a Habberstad home, and have three of her paintings. What is your interest? I know several years ago there was an exhibit with several of her pieces at the Boonton Historical Society. I could also put you in touch with some historians who have information on her and Claude.
Not sure how often I'll check here, so you'd be best to contact me at my gmail account, robinfante at. - Fri Sep 7 2007, 14:18
